My Therapeutic Approach
I specialize in working with professionals in safety-sensitive occupations—including healthcare professionals, first responders, and executives—who are navigating the unique challenges of their careers while prioritizing their mental health and recovery. In high-pressure roles, it's easy to put others first, and I help my clients remove internal and external barriers to achieving balance and well-being.
My approach to therapy is holistic and person-centered, offering a collaborative, non-judgmental space to explore your goals, past and present experiences, and strengths. I integrate evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
I have extensive experience treating addiction—including substance use disorders and process addictions such as disordered eating, compulsive sexual behaviors, gaming, internet and social media overuse, and unhealthy relationships. I also specialize in co-occurring disorders such as trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety.
Finding the right therapist is an important decision, and I offer free 15-minute consultations to help determine if we are a good fit. I currently work with individuals and am not accepting couples, families, or children at this time.
